The organizers of The North Face Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc this year adds a new level to an already epic beauty of a extraordinary human race by bringing on board the next generation of ultra runners. 500 kids to run 4 different courses; Micro CCC – Kids aged 4, 5 and 6 yrs old to run a course of 800m with a 2m elevation gain. Mini CCC, for kids 6-7yrs old to run a course of 800m with an elevation gain of 6m. The Mini TDS, for kids from 9-10yrs old to run a course of 1.2k with an elevation gain of 20m. The Mini UTMB, for kids between 9-10yrs to run a course of 1.8km and a elevation gain of 20m.
The North Face Athletes, Jez Bragg, Mike Wolfe, Lizzy Hawker, Fernanda Meciej, Hal Koerner, Helen Kospolich Sebastien Chaigneau and Zigor Iturrieta were present to inspire and lead the kids in the Mini ultra adventure.
